Signing up with one or more of our volunteer groups is one of the best ways to get involved at Rocket Town Church. Whether it’s designing graphics for our social media team or Hosting a Meet & Eat event after church, we’ll help you find the perfect team so you can start serving in your favorite areas.

First Impressions Team:

• What We Do: 

• Coffee Bar: Help set up and tear down the Coffee Bar before and after service. Keep stock up-to-date  

• Greeters: arrive before service to welcome people as they enter the building and past out bulletins and flyers

• Info Booth: greet people as they enter the building at the info booth but also will be knowledgeable  about information on ministries and events as well as pass out and prepare Visitor packets in advance

• Meet & Eat: helpers will assist in setting up a monthly Lunch after service

Maintenance Team

HELPS Team

• Leaders: Dylan R. & Ken T.

• What We Do: 

• Benevolence: Evaluate and coordinate the urgent need of assistance for food, shelter, utilities, etc.

• Transportation: Evaluate and coordinate the urgent requirement for transportation requests and coordinate transportation.

• Community: Review community activities to determine possible Church involvement. This may include and not be limited to  Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, Food Pantries, community events, etc.

• Hospital Visitation: Upon notification of a Church Member or close relative in the Emergency Room or admitted to the Hospital, we will contract this individual to determine if they are able to have a clergy visit.

• Meals: Review requirements for meals, and coordinate a schedule online to provide required meals.

• Safety Team: provides direction and assistance to Church members to include Emergency Response, Fire, Evacuation, First Aid, and First Responds to injuries, illness, etc. Also, ensure physical security of the Church.

Alter Warriors/Prayer Team

• What We Do: We are a group that gets together to pray for people and start Prayer Chains! We also go up at the front during service to pray for people on Sunday Mornings. We also have some team members who are ready to pray with people during the week as needed through text and email.

Praise Band & Worship Team

• What We Do: We meet once a week for band practice (Thursday 7-8pm) and Sunday 8:45am before Sunday morning service. Inclusion by interview and audition.

• What We Do: Our Worship Team works together to lead a thoroughly blended worship service for Sunday morning services. We meet once a week for band practice (Thursday 7-8pm) and Sunday 8:45am before Sunday morning service. Inclusion by interview and audition.

Sound/Audio/Tech Team

• What We Do: We are actively sponsoring 12 different ministries: local, in the USA and in many other countries.  Come alongside us and we will reach many souls for our Lord.
